Sakoian and Acker have written this definitive guide to chart interpretation. I have worked my way through two hardback copies in the past ten years, I refer to it so much.
An excellent addendum to The Astrologer's Handbook, Pelletier's interpretations are more positive and philosophical, and will add to your depth of understanding the aspects.
I use the interpretation of the asteroids as a major part of my astrological interpretations. They add depth and detail to my understanding and interpretation of the chart. Well-written, this book will open a new dimension to your astrological thought.
Chiron's placement in our charts gives us the "key" to unlock the gateway to our Higher Selves, and demonstrates how we, as "wounded healers" can help others to heal, as well as ourselves. Barbara Hand Clow explores this "planetoid" and its meanings in-depth.
Although many astrology programs have this information included automatically, there are also many which don't. And if you don't have an astrology program, but want to construct more than a couple of charts, this reference material is essential.
Totally necessary for manual construction of charts, as well as a handy reference for transit and horary work. For the year 2001 and beyond.
Midnight ephemeris for the next 50 years.
Noon ephemeris for the next 50 years.
Aspects between charts tell a lot about our relationships, and Sakoian & Acker have, once again, provided us with this handy reference.
Understanding astrology requires looking at more than one viewpoint and then applying the interpretation which seems best. I try to consider at least two "opinions" when interpreting charts, so I recommend this one to accompany the Sakoian & Acker reference listed above.
I simply love Hand's thorough interpretations, and this volume is a masterpiece!
A collection of in-dept articles by renowned astrologers, this book really helped me to understand the true meaning of the outer planets placement in the individual's chart (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto). Highly recommended for practicing astrologers.
This outstanding guidebook to managing psychic energies ought to be the companion book to Creative Visualization. This book isn't just for those who are actively seeking to USE their psychic abilities - it's for everyone. In a world filled with psychic noise, interference and the occasional "psychic vampire", this is a must-read.
Linda Goodman has a real flair in her descriptions of each Sun Sign (explained by Man, Woman, Child, Boss)and her humor will have you rolling in the aisles when you discover yourself or someone you love described in her pages. A great read for beginners and pros alike.
