This slipped my mind in class, but we do have homework for Monday's
class.
Here it is:

Read 4-7

Write solutions to 4-7,8.

I had thought we would try a particularly challenging relative velocity
problem in class tomorrow.  However, I think it's more important to
bring
VLab 2 to a close, since it's fresh in your mind.  Therefore, we'll use
class time Thursday to complete it.  Bring your lab book.  I plan to
pick
them up at the end of the class Thursday.

Subject: files and directories

Managing the files that are FTPed to the Physics server is becoming a
nightmare.  People are putting files in the wrong directories and saving
them with names that don't relate to the labs they are doing.  In order
to eliminate these problems, I'm setting up individual directories for
each student.  It is important that each of you move your present elab2
and vlab2 files into your individual directory.  I won't attempt to
access them from the present shared directories.

See me for help in moving your files.  I will be available Friday and
Monday after classes.  Monday at 5:00 PM is the deadline for moving the
files, but if you do this by Friday, 5 PM, I'll grant you official
permission to turn in one homework assignment a day late.  If you don't
meet the Monday deadline, there will have to be a penalty, because I
really need to start looking at these files.
