A Word From the Editor

A big thank you to all the writers who submitted material to our first issue. You are to be commended for trusting us and taking the risk to publish on the Internet. It's a big step, but it's the future -- now. If you're a writer who's afraid to jump on the super-highway, send us an e-mail with your concerns. We'd be more than happy to chat with you about them. Also, if you're a new writer, don't let that stop you from submitting to The Horsethief's Journal. Everytime you submit your work for publication, you take the risk of being rejected. But how will you ever get published, if you don't take that risk? We like new writers. We were once new writers, too.

Thank you, dear readers, for your patience, too. Your intrepid Editor is slowly becoming HTML literate (currently in the baby-talk phase.)

Finally, the Editor wishes to extend a Very Special Thank You to DJB for the heart-felt help and encouragement generously extended during the creation of this journal.

Issue #3 Deadlines

Postmark deadline for all submissions is October 30. All late material will be held for consideration for Issue #4. Issue #3 will be ready to read by December 7th.

Include your e-mail address, address, phone number and SASE with your submission. No submissions will be returned without an SASE.
