June 2nd, 1999 - a Florida girl, 16, has been reported as having "changed" since her visit to Ohio. She no longer likes to bathe, she has incredible cravings for cheese, and her family has been reported as having recently bought a Lincoln Navigator.
June 13th, 1999 - a 17 year old high school student from South Florida, Jack, suddenly experienced "indescribable cravings" for cheese. Linda, a classmate, said "It all started after he returned from visiting his grandparents in Columbus. He began begging me for rides home in my Explorer, even though he already had a car!"
July 4th - Jessy and Tina, twin sisters, after having returned from a trip to Ohio, suddenly felt the urge to get rid of their Colt Vista and buy a SUV.
July 8th - In North Carolina, a retired couple complained of their daughter’s strange behavior after moving to Columbus. "She doesn’t like to bathe anymore," said the mother. "And she only likes to eat cheese, oh and [she] bought track lighting for her apartment."
