What is it about:
A very bizarre film that revolves around Delmorte - the Cemetary Man. Delmorte’s existence is as a caretaker - or Engineer - of a small cemetary in a small city. First he buries the newly dead with his only friend and co-worker, Noggie, a mute who is kind of “Igor”ish. After a period of seven days, the dead coe back to life and usualy come to Delmorte’s shack in the cemetary to kill him and Noggie. SO they re-kill them, which can only be done by splitting their heads in two. “A spade will do.” Delmorte remarks, but he usually uses a gun. Things became wierd - (what? You mean they aren’t already?!?) - when the woman he loves is killed by her dead husband and is re-killed by Noggie. But wait, that isn’t the wierd part. The weird part(s) is when the same woman comes back two more times as someone else! On the side is a all different type of horror that is inflicted upon Delmorte when he asks to have his penis cut off so he can marry one of these look-alike women. This is one film that will have you talking about at the office the next day!

If you like bizarre films or really weird zombie flicks, this is one film you MUST see! Wih many Sam Raimmi-esque touches throughout (although I doubt this Italian director used Raimmi as an influence), I truly felt that Bruce Campbell would have been perfect for this film. Oh, you know Bruce Campbell is - Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Brisco County Jr.. Throughout the film, look for things in th ebackground like how a tree resembles a woman’s breasts; wires holding up little weird firelights floating around one scene; there is one part in the very beginning when the door opens that you can see through the door jamb as well as the entrance; Delmorte’s bandage on his shoulder isn’t always on; the Governor’s daughter’s stitches are not on when she is first dug up; the biker’s girlfriend enjoys her dead biker boyfriend eating her - literally - and her arm is all chewed up, but he is eating her leg; and there is NO PLOT! No explanations for anything is given anywhere in the film!
