Yeah, I'm a Bookworm. A biliophile. A book-junkie. It doesn't matter what ya call it. I love to read! I read just about everything and I'm almost always reading something. I've been reading mostly in the sci-fi/fantasy genre lately, but philosophy and religion have also been in there as well. The books that got me started on the fantasy road were, of course, The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. My fav-o-rite fantasy author at the moment is Robert Jordan. His series The Wheel of Time is a must read! It's epic! It's great! My fav-o-rite sci-fi writer is, by far, David Brin. His Uplift Novels are incrediblely imaginative and very impressive. Definitely worth reading. I've got a list of some of my fav-o-rite books. There's no way to list all the books I've enjoyed, so this is doomed to be an incomplete list. I just found the link to a site where I've been buying books by snail-mail. Now I can order, cancel, and refuse books via the net! It's the Science Fiction Book Club. Check it out! The Ethical Slut by Liszt and Easton I don't think computers will ever totally replace books as reading material. It's too hard to read large amounts of text on a monitor. Makes yer eyes cross after a bit! And there's nothing like the look, feel, and smell of a book that you can huddle away with. My friend Hope says that laptops are too difficult to read on the toilet too!
