^^^Level of Qcan:
The atmospheric level should be set to 10% and the sector level to 5%. This setting is only for a well defended planet, which means having a lot of figs. For a planet with few figs and a Qcan the atmospheric level should be set to 25%, buy remember fill up your planet with a lot of figs as soon as possible and keep the flow going, until the planet produces enough figs for itself. @...feed the planet and in future you will be fed by it yourself...@
^^^Military Reaction Level:
the fighters military reaction should always be set to 0%, since they will get 3:1 odds on the planet, whereas getting 2:1 odds out in the sector.
^^^Starting the first planet:
The first thing to do is to find a dead end (tunnel) as deap as possible. Build a planet with a genesis torpedo in the last sector of the tunnel and start pouring in colonists from Terra. Do not wait until the colonists produce things, takes too much time, fill it in yourself. @...feed the planet and later u will get protection from it yourself...@
---Q: How do i take colonists from Terra first before anyone else does?
---A: What u do is create an extra character (get an extra E-mail adress from hotmail, yahoo or many others), which u keep in fedspace in sectors 1-10 and log in with him when u wonna know if there are any colonists in Terra (takes too many turns to come check yourself). Colonists appear once in an hour, so keep on checking all the time.
^^^Manadging a well filled planet:
---Q: What do i do with the extra character when i don't need him in fedspace any more? ---Q: How come my sentinel does not protect my planet(s) and doesn't get 4:1 odds? ---Q: How do i defend my sector?
---A: Answering to all three at once! You tow a sentinel to your sector with whatever you got in there and transport your extra character into it. An unmanned sentinel will not defend and if attacked will have 1:1 odds! That is why u have to put a manned sentinel for defence. IMPORTANT> you MusT make your extra character your corporation partner and you MusT log in with him at least every 10 days so he does not get erased by the Sysop.
^^^Planetary Trade:
This way u earn more money then any other way. You trade WITH your planet not your ship, of course u use the ship in the proccess of trading. What u do is u take your WELL DEFENDED planet to a sector, where there is only a XXS (u only need to buy eqp) with 100% on eqp. (check the port report from onboard computer) and as close to your HOME sector as possible. Then u get out of the planet, with a lot of money, and buy as much eqp. as possible and unload on the planet. When u r out of money or the port out of eqp. u get back into your planet and P-warp to another sector with a port that buys eqp. with 100%. u get out of your planet and negotiate a planetary trade agreement. Do not accept port's offer, ALWAYS try to make the most money possible. So for example if u buy eqp. for 100k from one place and sell it in the other u will make around 230k. Wild ha?
These are the steps:
1) find a sector with XXS and deploy a fig in it. 2) find a sector with XXB and deploy a fig in it. 3) go to your planet, land, enter the citadel and p-warp to XXS. 4) buy all the possible eqp. and unload on to the planet. 5) p-warp to XXB and sell the eqp. 6) either continue over again if u have the fuel or enjoy the money @...Once u r rich use SSS and BBB ports and u will make millions...@
^^^Defence for all your resources:
Make a type H planet as soon as possible and fill it with colonists, eqp, and organics. Upgrate the citadel all the time, do not waste time. Time is money. This planet produces 1colonist-1fuel and will be your fuel base and a big part of your defence. Once u have this baby filled and upgrated almost nobody but the most powerful characters in the game can fuck with u. Even the most power- ful characters will think for days before actually going for an attack, cause if they manadge to take this planet they will be so weak that you probably will manadge to take everything back and kill the suckers with 10k figs. I do not know anyone who would just go and attack a filled level 6 type H planet and i don't think i ever will. Just to make u understand: @...to take a class M level 3 planet with about 7k figs will cost around 4 MILLION, if u already are in an ISS or a Flagship (equiped)...@
^^^Making money while you are not playing:
This way of making money will probably be one of your favorite ways of getting rich, but to make a significant amount of money (not 20k,50k) you have to be initialy rich. @...Money makes money...@ All you have to do to get 200k A DAY is to have 10 million saved in your citadel before you log off. The rule is: all the citadels gain 2% interest of all the money in the treasury. From the other side if you have 50 million in your citadel you will make a million a day!, which means an additional 5.5k figs a day. @...If this profit is combined with planetary trading it can make you more money than you will need to spend, which means YOU ARE THE MAN!...@
^^^Planetary Assault: ----------NOT SURE 'BOUT THIS--------
This is done using a planet, which is FILLED with fuel and is at least 4th level. What u do is u deploy figs all over the place and wait until someone enters a sector with your figs in it (you get the message at once). If the visitor is someone worth attention you warp into that sector AT ONCE, before he has the chance to destroy you figs. Remember to set a nice percentage for the sector level of the Qcannon beforehand. He then will destroy your one deployed fig, but will right away get a shot from your cannon, which he will never recover from. @...They should learn to respect the weak and the money should be payed or something bad might happen...@
