Because the Charismatics have so perverted the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, most soul winners are afraid to inform their new convert that they are indwelt by the Holy Spirit the moment they put their faith in Jesus for salvation. The following Scriptures make it very plain that this is the case.
Romans 5:5: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
II Corinthians 6:16: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14: Which is the earnest (down payment) of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us ("given us life through the Holy Spirit") together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ephesians 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
