Eternal Security of the Believer

How unfortunate it is that most born-again Believers do not know that they are eternally secure. Satan has raised up many Pentecostal/Charismatic groups which teach that you have to "hold out faithful til the end" in order to be saved.

The following verses will clearly show that it is not only Jesus Who saves us, it is He Who also keeps us saved; because "salvation is of the Lord." (Psalm 37:39, Jonah 2:9)

Psalm 37:28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

I Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Ephesians 1:13-14: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 4:30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Colossians 1:13-14 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Colossians 1:21-22: And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22: In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

I Thessalonians 1:10: And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

I Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Hebrews 10:39: But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

I Peter 1:4-5: Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. I John 2:25: And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

Jude 24: Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25: To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
