Charlee's Place

Mount Rainier

Welcome to Charlee's Place

Hi and welcome to Charlee's Place.

I wanted to create a page where my friends could come in, kick off their shoes, and just relax.

The beautiful mountain you see in the pictures is Mt. Rainier, and one of the main reasons I have stayed here 17 years. In October 1980, married only one year... my wonderful husband, brought me to Washington. We are still here all these years later, and have made too many trips to the mountain to count. I love this mountain and all the special memories it holds for me. I hope you will love it also.

Please sign my guestbook an let me know what you think.

charlee1@mailexcite.com E-mail me, I would love to hear your comments!

Enjoy!

You can leave me a message on my Tripod Answering Machine, if you'd like!

Go Rest High On That Mountain

I know your life
On earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

Oh how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

-Vince Gill

For Daddy, who also loved my mountain.

I still think of you every day Daddy.

Mount Rainier

This is a picture of two of my boys, taken on one of our most memorable trips to the mountain. We had a lovely picnic then fed birds from the palms of our hands, it is a day I will never forget.
