Mix:
  1 and 1/2 cups flour.
  1 cup sugar.
  1 tsp. baking powder.
  1 tsp. baking soda.
  1/2 tsp. salt.
  3 tbs. cocoa.

In a large bowl, make a dam of the flour mixture.

On the left side, add:
  1 tsp. vanilla
  5 tablespoons Wesson oil

On the right side, add:
  1 tablespoon vinegar
  1 cup water

Mix it all together.

Pour into greased 8 X 8 X 2 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until
cake bounces when pressed in center.
