Cook's Critter/Shrimp

Cook's Critter/Shrimp

Hook: Straight eye, standard length
Tail: Unravelled pearlescent mylar tubing
Eyes: Silver bead chain
Body: Fluorescent green chenille
Hackle: palmered over body
Shellback: Pearlescent green mylar tubing
Wing: Fluorescent green calftail
Head: Dark green thread

Notes: Developed by Vance Cook in the mid 1980's for seatrout. This is an impressionistic shrimp that can be tied in a variety of colors that are effective on bonefish and redfish, but this green variation is still best for trout.
