There is a crisis in YellowStone Park. Unsurprisingly, it is a reflection of a problem that exists in many places on this earth. The last wild herd of buffalo is being crowded out of their home. A year ago the herd numbered around three thousand, now are less then seven hundred. Forced out of the high regions of the park by snow mobiling, the herd roams to the lower regions in search of food. Once they cross an invisible boundary line, they are shot on private and federal land surrounding the park. The private land owners include Elizabeth Clare Prophet's church Universal and Triumphant.

This killing of buffalo is not illegal, just immoral and unitelligent. According to Native American's customs, the buffalo is placed on this earth as a spiritual protection for humans,The dying Buffalo may also signify our death as well. At its root, this is a crisis of consciousness.

Much of this carnage has been recorded on video tape. We have over fifthy hours of tape taken during a three year span. Deep Spirit Productions will include this footage in the creation of a one hour television documentary. We have a letter of intent from Oasis Television and interest from ShowTime. There fore we have been encouraged to engage sponsors for the show. Thus, that is where you come in. We invite you to join with us to form a voice from the heart to ask some tough questions: Why is The Church Universal and Triumphant allowing Bison to be shot on their land? Why was Rosalie Little Thunder arrested for trespassing when she walked onto church land to pray for the dead animals?

Why is money considered more important than the environmental elements necessary for life? Can we start to live in a new way that will actually affect those values, or is it to late?

How many wild animals must die before they are considered "Endangered Species"?

How can we promote living in harmony with this last wild tribe of buffalo in Montana and all the other animals around the Earth dying in this way?

How can we heal the racism that divides one from another, many of us know nothing about the Native American ways, yet by doing nothing, we are all responsible for the genocide and religious persecution of these people.
