Personally, I think our school is extremely lucky to have it's very own History Museum. The website team took a bit of an exploration through the museum. One thing we saw was Chester Hill's first ever computer, it looks like a giant calculator. Another thing, was the old school uniform, I think we were all glad we didn't have to wear them anymore. As I looked through the museum, I was able to touch, and look at all the cool stuff in there. Like the old rusty sword, the weird looking telephones and all the old posters on the wall. Alicia found a book full of strange cards, she later found out they came in packet of cigarettes and are now impossible to get. Looking the museum was surprisingly really fun. We pretended to blow up the room with the old land-mine detonator. We had play-fights with the sword and axe, trapped each other in the ball-and- chain and talked to each other on the phones. Rebecca L.

In our museum there is an old ball and chain. It is made up of a large heavy ball attached to a metal chain. On the end of the chain is a type of latch which goes around the ankle. It was used as a way to prevent convicts and prisoners from running away as the ball attached to their ankle was too heavy. Alicia R. Look at all this stuff!!

Is it lunchtime yet? The old and the new Cheso girl's school uniform Who are all these people? Look at their clothes!

THE PUNISHMENT RECORD BOOK.

The punishment book is a book that recorded names, offences, dates of punishments, number of times caned and the teachers that caned the offenders. The offending student was only allowed to be caned by the pincipal or assistant principal. In this book the most number of canes were 6 at a time. The least was 1. Rachel H.
