The sun descended in the sky throughout this late afternoon match on the third day of the '95 US Open. Flo and Patricia lost the first set 7-5, and saw a 4-0 lead in the second evaporate. But at 5-5 in the second, Florencia took over the match! She played the best tennis I had ever seen her play, really ripping the ball and even hitting superb volleys. Flo and Patricia pulled away for a 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 victory.
