WHO ARE WE
Our ministry has evolved out of the cooperation of different churches
and denominations, with the aim of establishing a publication and media center
to produce a christian literature and publication for churches in the Middle
East. This center is endorsed by all church leaders of the major churches in our
region.
Our correspondence course program, which is used by all churches has
been expanding dramatically after the Gulf war . Nowadays we are receiving approximately
150 letters a day (about 4000 monthly) mostly from the Arabic countries specially Iraq ,
which had its border opened to Jordan after the war. We praise God for this unique
chance to spread His word in Iraq.
In past years we were also able to record modern Arabic christian music for
cassettes. The demand for these cassettes are tremendous and we can hardly keep up
production.
During and after the Gulf war , we were also able to help socially through the
different churches. Food supplies and clothes were distributed for the refugees and
needy in Jordan and Iraq. We are also glad that many were interested to have our christian literature and cassettes. In the last
nine years we were able to distribute food aid in Iraq for more than 4755 family , plus we were able to distribute 230000 christian Calender in
Iraq and Jordan , beside that, thousands and thousands of books and literature , and all kind of Bible portion
were send through letters ,we estimate the number of letters that we have received to be more than 260749 in the last nine years , we were also able to distribute 22450 christian cassettes .
We have permissions for 14 christian books to enter to Iraq , we pray to God to provide us with the budget needed to print these books and to send it to the churches in Iraq.
Another vital ministry are the service for the blind and handicapped in Jordan. These services were entrusted to us by Prince Raad , Lord Chamberlain to King Hussein of Jordan.
The objective of this service is to create job opportunities for the blind and handicapped in Jordan , so that they can support themselves. We also help to provide Braille equipment for the blind , we also provide school books for the Blind students in Braille, plus educational and spiritual books.
All this work are supported by the help of believers and friends who care that the word of God can reach the Arab world . We pray that our Lord may keep the doors open for spreading the Gospel of love and truth , so that we can work as the opportunities arise to the Glory of His name.
