History of the Cloverleaf Ranch
The Cloverleaf Ranch is located on approximately 5 rural acres in the central part of Illinois. We have about 3000 square feet of aviary buildings including two, fenced in "ranges". These "ranges" provide a more natural habitat for the birds than restrictive, metal cages and allow them to excersize as well as to feed on grubs and insects. We have 2 fully enclosed buildings which we use for winter living accommodations as well as for breeding, brooding, and egg incubation. We raise Chinese Ringneck Pheasant and Northern Bobwhite Quail as well as White Rock and Road Island Red Chickens. Once every year we even throw a few pigs in a pen...just for eating purposes! Our birds provide excellent eggs, day olds, breeding stock, hunting birds, pets, and a great food source. We feed our birds only the highest quality, natural feeds, without the use of preservatives or growth stimulants. Our feeds are grown locally, mostly by my neighbors who don't seem to mind tradin' eggs for corn and oats, which insures freshness and top quality. If you have any comments or are interested in any information regarding the eggs or the birds that we raise here at the ranch, please E-mail me at the address below. Hope to hear from you soon!
