Religious Persecution
Religious persecution is a topic that I feel very strongly about. When was the last time you were ever threatened with death for your religious beliefs? Have you ever personally known anyone put to death for refusing to renounce God? Chances are you answered both those questions with a resounding NO! Our 1st Amendment ensures our right to practice whatever religion we choose. There are Christians all over the world that do not have the protection of a 1st Amendment. They are tortured and put to death for refusing to renounce their belief in God.
