                Sarah's Yummy Cheesy-Broccoli-Potato Soup

   5                    Potatoes -- cubed 3/4" slices
   6      Pieces        Bacon -- fried
   1      Medium        Onion -- chopped
   2 1/2  Cups          Water
   2      Cups          Fresh Or Frozen Broccoli Pieces
   1      Dash          Salt -- to taste
   1      Dash          Old Bay Seasoning -- to taste
   1      Teaspoon      Garlic Powder -- to taste
   2      Cups          Valveeta Cheese -- cubed

Fry bacon.  Remove cooked bacon, and drain the bacon grease, but leave two tablespoons to fry onion in.  Put onion in bacon grease, and cook.  Add cubed potatos.  Add water.  Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.  Add broccoli.  Cook until tender.  Mash the ingredients, and leave some potatoes chunky. At this time, add spices, and cheese.  Simmer for 15 minutes.  Add bacon pieces and serve.

                              Sarah's Salsa

   1      Can           Whole Tomatoes -- chopped
   6      Cloves        Garlic -- pressed
   3      Large         Jalapeno -- chopped
   1      Medium        Onion -- chopped
   2      Tablespoons   Fresh Cilantro -- chopped
   1      Teaspoon      Cumin Powder
   1      Teaspoon      Salt
   1      Tablespoon    Olive Oil

In large bowl chop tomatoes. Add all other chopped ingredients. Add spices.  Mix well. Serve chilled.

NOTES : This is a pretty hot salsa.  I can't imagine eating it any other way...:) Everything in this recipe is "to taste".  So, you can play with it and get it the way you like it best. Sometimes, instead of chopped all the veggies, I put them in the blender, and blend them.  I like it this way also.  Changes the taste a bit, and of course the texture.  It all depends on if I want chuncky or smooth.
