M56 Smart Gun The M56 smartgun is undoubtably the most powerful wepon in the USCM armoury and requires special training to use. The length of this wepon is 122m with a rear firing grip and a fore firing grip. The forward grip has controls which allow the mode of firing. What makes this weapon unique from others is the fact that it uses a large electronic suite for targeting built into the gyromount. The unit also has a headset unit wich contains IR sensors which send data to the computer in the gyro, the computer conculates optimum firing angle for the target. The target is represented by a circle in the wearers eyepiece. Changing targets is just a matter of aiming the gun at a new target.
