Alexander "Xander" Harris (Nicholas Brendan) has lived in
Sunydale all his life. He looks like his the skater type. He is a
joker outcast. Friends with the other skaters of the school. He
wisecracks about everything, especially when he’s scared. He
always seems to have the last (funny) word. He's very witty
and very cute. CUTE!!
Xander’s best friend is Willow Rosenberg. Those two have been
best friends forever. So many memories they’ve shared of their
past childhood and plenty of funny stories about Cordeila (the
resident sob)’s earliest tries at titles. "Cordeila sure does
love titles." ~ Xander (The Invisble Girl).
Xander’s friend was lost to the Vampires the night Buffy first
moved there. The Vampires had this thing going on call the
Harvest. The Vampires were going to The Bronze (the local hang out)
looking like humans and they managed to lure Willow, Xander’s
friend, Jessie, and Xander out into the graveyard. Buffy was
able to save Willow and Xander, but Xander’s friend became a
vampire and Buffy was forced to do her job. Willow and Xander
learned about her deep dark secret after that night and stay
by her side.
Xander has had a crush on Buffy since the moment they’ve met and
ever since. He hates to see her with any other guys. Especially
Angel. He makes this face like his skin is crawling. He’s in love
with her and he helps protect her. He does try to drop hits to
Buffy, but she never really gets them. He told Willow and Willow
knows he likes Buffy. But, Xander doesn’t know is that Willow
kind of.... likes him. Quite alittle love triangle going. Xander
is a Slayerette (Slayer helper).
By the end of the second season, Xander had gotten together with Cordelia. Him and Cordy? An item? I think we have just entered the twilight zone. But, they are very happen together. But, we sense some major conflict by the season finale, when (in the hospital)Xander says to Willow's unconscience body that he loves her. But, she comes around and calls Oz's name. Hey Joss! Do I sense some conflict for the next season? I think I do.
