David Baker, Sr (PA) 2/5/1803 - 10/16/1894 m Sarah Cobb (KY) 3/3/1825 - 3/31/1958. Had 10 children: John; David; Washington; Thomas; Mary; Nancy; Jackson; Frances; Daniel; Benjamin. David said to be 1/4 Irish, 1/4 German, family story is that he was PA. Dutch. May be Quaker's in background. Have more on the family on down, esp. through Daniel. Nothing before David.

Looking for the parents of William Henry Baker, born 1818, most likely Bertie, Gates, Northampton County, North Carolina. He died June 8, 1883, Bertie County, North Carolina. He married twice, first to Martha Cale on March 3, 1840. Then after Martha died he married her sister Sarah Cale on March 25, 1847, both marriages Bertie County. I have a copy of Wm. Henry Baker's last will, as well as his marriage bond to Martha Cale. Martha and Sarah are the daughters of Charney Cale and Elizabeth Harmon. Thank You, Michael B.

Baker (b:1854 Plattsburg, New York-d:1931Clearwater, Kansas) and Helen Hammond (b:1861 Plattsburg New York--d:1941 Clearwater, Kansas).
