It aids sleep and digestion and some evidence points to its abilities to relieve the symptoms of headache, fever, colds and even asthma. To make the tea, steep two chamomile tea bags or 1/4 cup loose tea in 1 1/8 cups boiling water for 5 minutes. Strain and let the strong brew cool before using in the bread. The flavor will be subtle. For a more strong scented herb bread, use peppermint instead of chamomile tea.
