Welcome to the Vatican Philatelic Society's Homepage

Our Society was organized in 1953 and is the oldest in the United States devoted exclusively to the stamps of Vatican City and The Roman States. We invite you to consider joining the other Vatican collectors who are enjoying the benefits of an internationally acclaimed group who share your interest in the philately of the Vatican City State and the Roman States.

Some of the benefits of membership are:

"Vatican Notes," the bi-monthly publication of the VPS is devoted to the interest of Vatican Collectors. Every 16 page bi-monthly issue is filled with Vatican philatelic information that you will not find in any other philatelic publication, along with information on all the new issues.

Chapters-- have been formed in several cities. Members in these cities are afforded the opportunity of meeting socially with others who have the same philatelic interests.

Auctions-- are conducted bi-monthly through "Vatican Notes" by our auctioneer. This service is open to members only who bid on items or offer them for sale.

Vatican Philatelic information is freely given, to the best of our knowledge to anyone requesting such information through our Q & A column in "Vatican Notes."

Membership Information

Dues are $9.00 per year in the U.S. and $16.00 per year for foreign.
