He gave his birth date as August 16, 1882 and his occupation as self-employed farmer. His nearest relative was Bertha E. Dinkins (Wife) of RFD A94, Woodlake, Tulare County, California. He was short and stout, with blue eyes and black hair.

NOTE 2: Slate Dinkin, female, age 25, married, departed from Bremen, Germany aboard the SS Cassel on June 22, 1905 and arrived in Baltimore, Maryland on July 5, 1905. She had $5 in her possession and was going to join or visit her father, R. Dinkin. Her ticket was paid by her husband. She had never been to the US before and her last residence was Russia. She was traveling with two daughters, Rebeka, age 3, and Elke, age 11 months.
