English cylinder, wine style. 9" tall, 3 and 3/4" in diameter. Appears to be freeblown but may have been blown in a cup mold. The lip has been applied and is down-tooled. The string rim is down-tooled as well. This bottle has a wonderful, large sand pontil, typical of English wines of this period. Note the bulged heel and conical pushup. Ca-1790-1820.
