Freeblown mallet, British. An early British mallet, 9" tall and 4" wide. Typical, large(2 and 3/8") sand pontil, with a 1 and 1/2" kickup. Deep olive amber in colour. Wide, flattened, applied string rim and sheared lip. Very nice example of glassblowing. Ca: 1750's.
