Member of the Heilman Karate Academy since 1984. Member of the Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo Federation beginning in 1984, ending in 1995. Member of the International Karate Kobudo Federation beginning in 1993. Original Member of the "Renshi-Kai" which was the advisory/steering committee for the International Karate Kobudo Federation beginning July 13, 1995. Member United States Karate Alliance beginning in 1993 to present. Member of the International Seidokan Motobu-Ryu Rengokai since January 2002.
Accomplishments and Abilities
Awarded HKA Student Of The Year in 1987. Brown Belt instructor at satellite studio 1987. Instructor for International Seminars since 1995. Featured Seminar instructor for Kobudo at the United Alliance Of Shotokan Karate Seminar since 1993. Competed in tournaments in regional, nation and international forums. State Champion in Master's Weapons with the Pennsylvania Karate Ratings Association. 1997 and 1998. Seminar instructor at over 200 dojo seminars. Instructor of International Karate Kobudo Seminars. Instructor for Women's Self Defense and assault prevention courses. Successfully instructed individuals or groups with little or no martial arts training through high ranking Black Belts. Coordinated the International Kenpo Karate Kobudo Annual Seminars from 1995 to 2003. These seminars ranged from 100 to 200 participants and up to 11 nationally and internationally renowned instructors. Manager of Heilman Karate Academy September 1, 2000 to 2003. Became A USKA All-American member in August, 2001.
