Advancement:

Outer Court

All members enter the Coven in the Outer Court. At this time the student will be allowed to Dedicate themselves. During the time spent in the Outer Court, the student will be a Dedicant to the Craft.

To advance to the Inner Court: An Inner Court member must provide the appropriate training for advancement. The Inner Court member will use their Inner Court book as the basis for all training.. When the Outer Court member is ready to advance, the sponsoring Inner Court member and the student must have the approval of the Leader and the Coven Council. There .is no specific time period that a student must remain in the Outer Court before advancement. When the student is ready and with the approvals mentioned above, the student will be advanced. Upon advancement the initiation into the Coven will take place.

Inner Court

First Degree Members

An inner Court member enters the Inner Court as a First Degree Priest/ess. First Degree training is provided by 2nd Degree Inner Court Members with the assistance of Working Court members as needed. The 2nd Degree Inner Court member will use their Inner Court book as the basis for all training.. As the 1st Degree Priest/ess advances in skills, the 2nd Degree Priest/ess will recommend the 1st Degree for advancement. When the 1st Degree member is ready to advance, the sponsoring 2nd Degree member and the student must have the approval of the Leader and the Coven Council. There .is no specific time period that a student must remain in the 1st Degree status before advancement. When the student is ready and with the approvals mentioned above, the student will be advanced. To 2nd Degree.

Second Degree Members

Second Degree training is provided by a HP/S in the Working Court. The HP/S will use their Working Court book as the basis for all training.. As the 2nd Degree Priest/ess advances in skills, the Working Court HP/S will recommend the 2nd Degree for advancement to the Working Court. During the training of 2nd Degree Priest/ess, they will be asked to assume various duties and assist in the Working Court as part of their training. When the 2nd Degree member is ready to advance, the sponsoring HP/S and the student must have the approval of the Leader and the Coven Council. There is no specific time period that a student must remain in the 2nd Degree status before advancement. When the student is ready and with the approvals mentioned above, the student will be advanced to HP/S, i.e. 3rd Degree status

Working Court

The members of the Working Court are the Coven HP/S, and the Leader of the Coven. In addition to the Coven HP, the Coven HPS and the Leader, the HP and HPS will utilize their 2nd Degree Priests and Priestesses in training to assist on a rotating basis. There will never be more than five Coven members in the Working Court during any Ritual.

After appropriate training and the accumulation of knowledge, Working Court 3rd Degree HP/S may start their own Coven with approval of the Coven Council.

Covenants of the Coven

All Coven/School activities are Coven Secrets and are to be treated as such by all members. Each member will swear to never reveal any of the Coven/School activities, to include, but not limited to teachings, workings, events or ritual construction. Each member will be required to swear to an oath of secrecy.

No member is permitted to use their mundane names, give out their home addresses or phone numbers to another member while attending ANY Coven/School function. This is for the protection of all members, in the event that a member should leave the Coven or be dismissed from the Coven. Only the Leader of the Coven will have this information, which will never be divulged to anyone.

All members will be afforded equal opportunity to advance in rank and status regardless of ethnic background, sex, age or sexual preference.

Children under the age of 10 will remain in the Outer Court under the direct supervision of their parents. Children 10 and above may advance in rank and status to the rank of 2nd degree, and be advanced to the inner Court only, under the supervision of their parents.

No child under the age of 18 may be a member or be trained by the Coven without the direct involvement and supervision of their parents or legal guardians.

Coven Groups will select a chairperson that will represent their interests and report to the Coven Leader. Each chairperson will sit on the Coven Council. The Coven Groups are determined by the Coven Leader and are defined in the Coven Working Groups section.

No Coven member that is selected as a trainer will be allowed to train more than 4 members at a time.

All Coven Trainers are approved by the Leader after selection by the Coven Council.

Coven Trainers will never intimidate, mentally or physically abuse their students. No trainer will ask, expect or demand that a student perform any personal tasks for the sole benefit of the trainer. This rule does not exclude the student from performing Coven responsibilities that are properly assigned by either a Coven trainer or other senior Coven members.

Coven students at the appropriate level and status will serve senior Coven members at Rituals, Ceremonies, or meetings with various duties to include, but not be limited to, acting as hosts, hostesses, messengers, providing security and providing general assistance where requested.

No member will release any information about the Coven except by providing the Coven email address or the Coven P. O. Box. Penalty for Violation of Coven Rules.

1st Offense: The member will loose their status and be demoted to the previous level. 2nd Offense: The member will be permanently removed from the Coven. Once removed, no member may ever return to the Coven.
