About The M.W.L.
The Muscle Wrestling League is the brainchild of Dave Woodrum, a member of the Muscle Preservation Society. So, what is the Muscle Preservation Society and all about? Well, M.U.S.C.L.E. was a popular toyline (based on the Japanese Kinnikuman lineup) and our goal (as members of the MPS) is to preserve and renew interest in the Muscle toyline.
This is where the MWL comes about. The MWL is somewhat based on my Muscle freetime back in the 80's (but with some 90's twists added...well, mostly 90's twists as I still play with my Muscle toys... yes, I am a grown adult too). Not as glamorous as MCW, The MWL is more of your "backwater cable channel owned" wrestling league. Something that you would see late at night while everyone else is asleep.
