He married twice. He married Emily Caroline Osborn in Of, Wilton, Connecticut, 1 Jan 1861. Emily was born in Of, Wilton, Connecticut Abt 1841. Emily died 12 Nov 1864. He married Sarah Ann Dickens in Of, Wilton, Connecticut, 29 Mar 1868. Sarah was born in Of, Wilton, Connecticut 12 May 1848.
