JOIN THE EASTWOOD DNA PROJECT

 

 

Currently, the author is classifying his Eastwood research into two categories. 

 

The first category is his research on Richard Eastwood of Norfolk, Virginia, which documents the earliest known Eastwood in America.

 

The second category is the descendants of John and Lydia Eastwood of Woodbridge, New Jersey.   This category in itself has three separate and distinct sub-groups, whose common ancestry has been documented through the Eastwood DNA project.  This includes the descendants of Lewis Eastwood, of New York and New Jersey.   This is the documented ancestry of Robert Davenport, the author, and Clint Eastwood, the actor.  

 

We are looking for other Eastwoods, in the hopes that we can connect them all through the DNA project.  Right now, we are looking for descendants whose ancestry goes back to North Carolina, and to Virginia, to solidify our theories about all colonial Eastwoods being descended from Richard Eastwood of Norfolk, Virginia.
