Textbook: ‘Ven conmigo! Holt Spanish Levels 2 and 3

Goal: To learn communication skills in the Spanish language and to learn about the various Hispanic cultures.

Method: You will achieve the goal of learning communication skills by practicing to speak, read, write, and listen to Spanish. You will learn about Hispanic cultures by reading, giving reports, watching videos, and making crafts.

Evaluation: Your progress in Spanish Class will be evaluated through daily assignments, quizzes, and tests. The grading scale is as follows:

A..100-93%
A-…92-90%
B+…89-87%
B….86-83%
B-…82-80%
C+…79-77%
C….76-73%
C-…72-70%
D+…69-67%
D….66-63%
D-…62-60%
F….59-0%

Quarter Grade: Quarter grades are calculated as a percentage of the total points awarded during the quarter.

Semester Test: At the end of each semester there will be a semester test which will test the knowledge gained during the entire semester.

Semester Grade: Quarter grades will count as 40% each and the semester test will count as 20% of the semester grade. You must pass 1st Semester to continue on to 2nd Semester.
