Jason Foley: Guitar and Vocals

Born in Bayonne, NJ and raised in Bloomfield, NJ, Jason has been playing guitar for nine years. Inspired at the age of twelve, Jason started guitar to try and achieve every musician's dream: getting chicks and becoming a rock star. Unfortunately, the part about getting chicks did not come true. Fortunately enough, he stuck with it under the guidance of his mentor & teacher, Sandy Renda, with whom he has studied various forms of music. This includes: jazz, rock, ska, reggae, and country. He is possibly one of the most diverse musicians around, listening to everything from Jimmy Bryant to the Aquabats. Jason started Day Nineteen as a way to play the music he loves-- ska and punk. Maybe now his dream of being a rock star and getting mad chicks will come true.
