PUPPET TEAM UPDATES....

Hello everyone and God Bless! There have been many changes taking place within our ministry recently. First of all, the guy that usually updates the ministries website has moved many miles away from the ministry and the church. Mike has recently accepted a new job out in Cincinatti, Ohio at a hospital. Congratulations from all of us, Mike, and we are praying for you.

Mike was also our elementary team director (the KUTIP's). He will no longer be able to direct this team and nobody is available to take over it. So for the time being this ministry has been discontinued. (Prior to this year, the TRIUMPH junior team was discontinued).

The second change is that our church has recently began the processes of opening a new 'plant' church about 15 minutes south of Lavelle in a little town called Marlinn (I spelled that wrong). A few of our leaders live further south of that area and have decided to become part of that new church in its first stages. There is alot of hard work that must go into starting a new church and it is an accepted custom that many members of the parent church attend the new church for a while to get it on its feet. So, in regards to this, since the director will be attending the church - they have decided to move the ministry down to that church. Our prayers for continued success go with them.

I have recently been called to step down after my 12th year in the ministry to answer a call from God to start a new ministry in our church. The ministry is a blacklite theatre ministry. It is called "Agape"! You can find out more about it at AGAPEUNITED.ORG. This ministry has been challenging, rewarding, suprising, and a blessing, as well as being stressful, time consuming, and difficult. But the Lord has seen us thru each and every step of its beginning steps. We are all very excited to have come this far from a vision that 4 young people had at a Smalltown Poets concert in August of 98. As a result of this, the Puppet Press will be discontinued. My time will be devoted to Agape, other church activities, and work. So I will be unable to continue on with the ministry. Plus I have not been called by God to go to the new church. My place is in Lavelle.

So..... this is where the ministry stands at this point. I pray that God will continue to bless it and keep it strong.
