I have lived in Iowa most of my life but have also lived in hot humid Louisana and Oklahoma and Minnesota where it also gets cold as...... well you figure it out. *L* But Colorado is the place I loved living the best and hope someday to return there. BUT GUESS WHAT???? I instead fell in love on the "NET" and I have moved to Northern California. I now live in the foot hills of the Sierra Mountains. I am remarried to a wonderful man named Jack. Funny thing is it didn't change my initials so I am still Debby V. Nope, not kidding either!

I have a lovely daughter who is 23 years old and a handsome son who is 21 years old. Just when I think I have them raised and out the door they return home for some reason too. Must be my sparkling fun loving personality they miss. *G* either that or my bank book *LOL* Both of my kids moved out to California with me and they both have good jobs and their OWN yes I said OWN homes. YEAH!! *G* When I married Jack I also inherited 3 step children-Jack Jr., Daryl & Rebecca, who by the way are twins. Also a few grandchildren of which two we are raising-Michael & Ron. They are teenager YIKES!! huh??? But guess that is what keeps us young-or else age the heck out of us *LOL*. I do not have a current pic of him, but when I get one will add that to a new page of pictures of my kids and grandson.

The reason I picked giraffe for my email addy is because I admire the grace and beauty of them and the fact that there is not anyone of them with the same design of spots upon them. Each giraffe is unique in this way. I have a collection of giraffes made from wood, pewter, brass, and ceramics. And for Christmas 1997 I received a new addition to my giraffe collection. I can now say I have one of crystal also. Since Christmas 1998 I have been to Wisconsin and have met some really wonderful people from on line and I also added a beanie baby giraffe and another ceramic piece that is just gorgeous. One day I will get pictures up of my collection........one day *chuckling* when I find the time that is. Since moving I have added many many more giraffes to my collection. Some I picked up on the way driving out here, others after getting here, and even others as gifts.
