Jake, he worked with me in GRI from 1959 to 1967. -Tom Blanchard (7/29/04) Thank you, Tom, for that info. I posted it at the FL Club for all his FLriends. Do you have a photo I could use for his memorial webpage? -Jake Lamkins (7/29/04) Here is the link for the obituary of Paul Kreitman, I should have sent this to you in the first place, but couldn't find it. This has his picture on it also. Hope you can use it okay. HTTP://www.chadronnews.com/main.asp?SectionID=121&SubSectionID=256&ArticleID=4031 I talked to Ken Meyer at the funeral yesterday and he would like to join the FAL club, I think he is going to send you an e-mail. -Tom Blanchard (7/30/04) Sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I worked with him in CDR in 72-73. He was a great help in getting me started with FL. I remember he used to show up for work with an extra venison sausage sandwich for me. He also taught me to do the best job at FL. Tarriff revisions. LOL! Jake, the cool thing with all the revisions was that Paul went from manager to agent and George Smith went from agent to manager in CDR and neither one of em would do the revisions for about 2 months before I got there. I would be putting pages in at the start of my shift and at the end of it I would be replacing the same pages again. I really wondered what I had gotten myself into. -Ron Abfalter (7/30/04) Wasn't Paul in STL at one time in his career? It seems to me I recall his name in 1968 when I went there. He had already left by then. -Jake Lamkins (7/30/04) Paul was a Senior Agent in STL when FL started service. -Charlie Clark (7/31/04) My records show FL started MKC-STL service June 13, 1967. Does that sound right? -Jake Lamkins (7/31/04) We did not realize that there was a Frontier newspaper until some friends told me that they had seen where Paul passed away in the Frontier News. Could I trouble you to find a copy of that newspaper? Paul R. Kreitman passed away July 22, 2004. His plaque from Frontier says, "Frontier Airlines, Inc. honors Paul R. Kreitman for 29 years of loyal and dedicated service. April 6, 1986." I am enclosing a check for $10 for which I will greatly appreciate it if you can find that newspaper and send a copy to me. Sincerely, -Wanda Kreitman (8/27/07) Dear Wanda, It was great hearing from you. I'm sending you the Frontier NEWS, issue #17, which has Paul's article in it. I entered you a one year subscription for your $10. You should be getting the Summer issue too. That will leave two more issues in your subscription. I barely missed working with Paul in St. Louis. I transferred there in 1968 and I believe he left a bit before I arrived. Paul's online memorial webpage is at http://FAL-1.tripod.com Best regards, -Jake Lamkins (8/27/07) Station agent seniority date of 5/16/1957 on the 1/1/86 FL/ALEA seniority list. -Jake Lamkins (9/21/07)
