WARREN HILL AIRCRAFT MECHANIC BIL GTF DEN I've moved back to my townhouse. Please change my address. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy the Frontier News. Sincerely, -Warren Hill (1/29/05) This is Warren's son, also named Warren, sending an e-mail to inform you of his death on March 19th from complications of congestive heart failure and pneumonia. He was surrounded by his three children at the time of his death. He enjoyed the Frontier news you provided. I know there are others from the old Frontier team who will want to know of his death. Frontier was a big part of his working life... from his Challenger days beginning 1947 in Billings to the consolidation into Frontier in 1950 and through his retirement in 1984. We have so many memories of Dad's Frontier friends and consider them our friends today. It is sad that another of America's Greatest Generation has passed on. Thanks again for keeping the Frontier spirt alive. All the best to you and the Frontier Family. Sincerely, -Warren Hill (3/20/05) Posted at the FL Club Warren Hill has passed away. I've posted the info at the FL online club and will put something in the next newsletter. When you get time, email me a photo that I could include on his obituary webpage and newsletter article. My sincerest condolences, -Jake Lamkins (3/20/05) I saw Warren's son at the hospital, but did not know it was him until later. My mother-in-law passed away early Monday morning, also of pneumonia. Had I known for certain that Warren was there, I would have stopped to see him. He did attend our re-union picnic at our house in July of 03. -Darrell Robson (3/21/05) Thank you for your prompt response. Attached is our Dad's obituary and picture. If you are unable to access them, please let me know. Sincerely, -Warren A. Hill Thanks for the info. That's a great photo. I'll use it in the newsletter & webpage. Your dad's webpage will be posted at http://FAL-1.tripod.com/ObitsMx.html His specific page is http://DENFL.tripod.com/Warren_Hill.html I don't have it posted yet but should in a few days. There is one issue left of his newsletter subscription. What's your postal address and I'll send it to you? -Jake Lamkins (3/21/05) I'm sorry to hear Warren Hill Passed away. I worked with him several years on DEN line maint. He was a very knowledgable and easy fellow to work with. -Joe Crider (3/21/05) For those of you who don't get the Billings Gazette, Warren Hill's obit was in today's paper. He died Saturday March 19 and his funeral will be tomorrow at St. Pius X Catholic Church (where I happen to work) at 11:00 a.m. His obit is available online at the Billings Gazette or if you can't access it, let me know and I'll send it to you. I sent a copy to Jake for the next FAL newsletter. Warren had a bio in the 2003 reunion booklet, even though ill health kept him from coming to the FAL BIL reunion. -Dee Martenson (3/22/05) The enclosed obit for Warren Hill may be the only 1 of many you'll receive, but, then, again, it may be the only one. Who knows? Thanks again and keep up your wonderful work which, in turn, keeps us all connected. Sincerely, -Marty Wells (4/1/05)
