WELCOME

This is not an official page of the Bichon Frise-L but is for Members to display photographs of themselves and their Bichons for the enjoyment of other List members.

If you want your photo on this page please contact me at Derek@BichonFrise.com I shall remove photos when members have their own web sites or when space is needed for new arrivals.
Many of these photographs have been scanned in by Ann - helped? by Nikki - in Minnesota. Thanks Ann it's really appreciated :)

I'm really pleased to have another member submit a photo of herself as well as her cute Bichon. This is the first photo of an English member on here so they are doubly welcome. The green glow around Toto is not for Halloween - it's a mark on the photo!
Here's Julie Kahn and Toto from London - England.

Our second member from England is Pauline Johns and she has sent these two photographs. The first is captioned - "Hard work this showing isn't it Pepsi?"
the second is of Louis Pups " Are they cute or are they cute?"
All I'll say Pauline is - beware of people pretending to be Santa Claus and coming down your chimney with a sack!.

Nancy Caveness has been persuaded to let me use this photograph of herself with her Mom and "only dog" Bailey the Bichon.

If they looked that cheerful then you can imagine how they look now with "new arrival" Barnum the Poodle just teaching Bailey a few circus tricks!

Helen Lew has sent this picture of JOE - he also has his own web page at Joe's page
Helen says -"This is Joe's favorite position...usually in the morning, he will just lay himself freely on his mom's FACE, or sometimes when his daddy is lying down, he will just slump himself next to him and say "Daddy, rub me....."

Lynn Ramich says - "If folks can't recognize the human, I'm the one on the phone! Marcy (rescue foster) is on my left; Gus is on his usual perch, my shoulders; and Ditto is on my right with his lovie."

Thanks Lynn we're pleased to see you all.

Hooray!! Another member who includes herself in the picture.! This is Jane McRae with "Glowy".
They are pictured at Jane's mother's in Pennsylvania. Glowy wishes Mom would put him down so he could chase Grandma's squirrels!

Jane Richter sent this picture of Ben the Bichon with Bear the rescue :)

Here's Judith Smith's LACEY - FRENCHIE- TAFFY trying to escape the Petsmart photographer!

This cute little fella is "Teddy" with his owner Dianne Lenox .

Jane Greaney has sent us these photos taken at the Bichon Club Northern California 's Fall Festival that took place in Sacramento California Saturday 27th September 1997.
This is Jane's Sir Fuzz with his Sire CH Prancing Sir Barklie Blue's daughter (his half sister) Cuddles Cuddle's and her 9 year old daughter Katie. The second photo is Sir Fuzz himself.

Here are two group pictures . Several List members were there. If any of them would like to identify themselves to me I'd be pleased.

Here are our first Swedish bichons provided by new list member Marianne Stavefeldt
My name is Frida - I am lying on our porch on a beautiful Swedish summerday looking at............

Mindy who always wants to be cute and pose for her photo!

Our next "star" is Coconut from Ivy & Roberto Duke.
Hello, my name is Coconut. I am just short of 5 months old in this picture, and I was born on March 28, 1997. You see me here in my favorite place, doing my favorite thing ... half asleep on my family's bed. When I am not reclined and relaxed, I can be found blitzing around or trying to chew on whatever my family has left in my reach. My mom says I act just like my fellow Bichons about which she reads on the Bichon Frise List ... I think I have managed a few additional surprises to make her smile though.

Well, this is actually where my family would prefer I recline. Pictures submitted by proud parents - Ivy & Roberto of Silver Spring, MD, USA

Sue & Pieter from Brentwood Bay, B. C.
say - Cassie has her own cheerleading song but I guess all the puppies do right?

Hey just look! it's Donna and Patrick Jones "The Great Gatsby"
in one of his expressive poses!
I can't believe his breeder, Norma Dirszowsky, ever taught him that :)

Brenda Robinson has sent the following 3 Bichon photos for us to enjoy...

This is Lucy - (Chanson Leilani).
She is almost 14 years old, blind and nearly deaf but gets around very well and is still a happy frisky little doll.
In this photo she's wearing a soft cast because of a torn ligament - now healed.

Guy is Lucy's grandsire on one side and great grandsire on the other. He was a champion as well as a stud dog in his youth. In middle age he became paralyzed when he injured his back in an accident. His breeder/owner, the late Carol Sommers of Chanson, nursed him and taught him to walk again.
Mr. Guy was famous for his "chipmunk" pose seen here.
Yes he really is sitting!

Next we have "Houdini".
He is about 4 years old, two previous owners and left alone a lot before Brenda and Dick rescued him. He just loves to sit on laps and gets along well with Lucy.

Now doesn't that make you want to look at the rescue pages again perhaps with a different viewpoint ? Thanks for sharing these pictures and stories Brenda and Dick.
