PERSONAL ACCOUNTS OF WORLD WAR II

BOMBERMAN

The only relative I had that was in the war was my grandma's cousin, Bob. Bob was in the US Air force and was stationed in Indonesia, for the fight against Japan. He was a bomber pilot and had 50 successful bombing runs, until that day. One day on the way back from his 50th successful bombing run he flew too close to another plane and they crashed.

My third cousin Bob died and so did the people in the other plane. He fought with pride for his country and brought pride to his family. I only wish he hadn't of crashed on that day, so I could hear the war stories from him instead of my grandma.
