Dr Clive Barnett is a distinguished medical nutritionist who graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Sydney, and received his postgraduate Diploma of Human Nutrition from Deakin University in 1990.

He has contributed widely to Australasian medical journals and the lay press, and is a member of the Nutrition Society of Australia, the Australasian Clinical Nutrition Society, the Australian Society for the Study of Obesity, and the International Life Sciences Institute.
