She paved the way for female singers in every way. She had a vocie that would put angel's to shame. Then in tragedy her vocie was stilled forever.
Patsy Cline was like no other singer. We she sang they listened. When the catch in her voice cried out they sat on the edge of there seat, waiting for the rest of the note. She could be country, like Kitty Wells or she could sing with the ranks of Doris Day or Judy Garland. Her short but, legendary career was filled with dozens of hits like I Fall To Pieces, Shes Got You, Sweet Dreams, and Leavin' On Your Mind to name a few. She helped new-comers like Loretta Lynn and Dottie West to become chart toppers. Sadly the world lost "The Cline" in a plane crash and the magical tunes that she projected were silenced.
The world will never forget Patsy Cline.
