Plucky Smiles

At the Pitiful Pig Pound, Plucky received both care and counselling.

"When people don't care about you, it is your fault, " he was told.

"You must change first if you want the people around you to change.

If you want to be loved, be loveable.

Don't look sad and worried.

Look happy.

Smile.

Smile and the world smiles with you.

Cry and you cry alone."

Pluckily, little Plucky practiced his smiles.

Plucky was glad to know that it was all his fault that

Stephen didn't love him.

If it was his fault, he would change, and everything would be all right.
