Fibromyalgia

Diagnosis

Fibromyalgia is a complex, frustrating, debilitating and until recently, almost hopeless affliction.

It is characterized by excessive fatigue, sleeplessness, depression, headaches, muscle stiffness, tenderness and pain . . . lots of pain.

It is a difficult illness to diagnose because the symptoms resemble those of so many other common complaints.  These shared symptoms cause Fibromyalgia to be easily confused with simple Myofascial Pain, as an example.  The treatments for the two are very different.

A thorough examination and proper diagnosis are the first steps toward relief of symptoms.  Symptoms are treated, not masked.

Treatment

Identify the problem

Practicioners and researchers had noted that Fibromyalgia is associated with reduced levels of needed Amino Acids, poor absorption of nutrients, food allergies and incomplete detoxification of the blood by the liver.

Correct the problem

Nutritional Pharmacology provides many answers by helping the body replace missing components needed to correct the body's biochemistry.  Microcurrent therapy provides the balance of the solution by allowing you doctor to quickly treat each painful trigger point.  By blending these disciplines, muscle damage and discomfort can be dealt with on the outside while the body is supported nutritionally and continues to heal from the cellular level.
