Cyrus (This is really a combination of profile and history and is a
slightly different format than the rest of our character descriptions)
Cyrus lounged in the large scarlet chair, a glass of red wine held
carelessly in on hand, eyes glazed over. His dark brown hair had
been pulled back into a ponytail, but earlier, and strands had begun
seceding and drifting forward to hang in his face. He didn't notice,
nor would he have particularly cared if he had. It made him seem
more distant, more aloof. He didn't need to seem distant or aloof right
now, though, nobody was around. Cyrus was relaxing a little. Things
were going all right now. Sure, were he a more conscientious Dream
Lord, he might be out patrolling the DreamWorld, searching for any
signs that trouble was coming. But he could do that later. Right now,
 he was relaxing.
Well, actually he was standing in a cave right now, getting
very annoyed. But in this memory he had of himself, he was relaxing.
He would much rather be relaxing right now, but Things were going
on. He idly wondered if these Things might have happened
differently, or not at all, had he gone out into the DreamWorld then
instead of relaxing.
So many choices, so many places for paths to diverge.
Coming to the DreamWorld had been no choice at all.
Hey, he could've just laid down and died, but that didn't sound like
very much fun. Although he had always wondered what the
then-Dream Queen, Regina, had seen in him. He didn't really seem
like her type. That had led to annoyance, arguments, and eventually
 war.
A war which never would have happened had Cyrus not
been given the role of Guardian of War. The fateful chess match that
had won him the position could have easily gone either way. In fact,
in retrospect, Cyrus felt that War had made a few too many miscues.
After all this time, though, he could begin to understand that.
So, being the Guardian of War, and feeling that he could
rule the DreamWorld better than Regina, Cyrus had done the
obvious. The war went well for Cyrus; the previous Guardian of War
had set things up beautifully, and most of the other Guardians had
already been put out of commission.
So, after a brief period of turmoil, the rule of the "evil"
Dream Lord commenced. Cyrus just fell into the habit of being evil. It
was much easier. Far too many people were far too willing to have
nightmares for Cyrus to ignore that. So he gave himself to the dark
side, as it were. But he did do his best to rule fairly and do what was
best for the DreamWorld. He brought in new Dreamweaveers when
he found then, and things generally went well until Rhianna came
around.
He'd been busy selling the DreamWorld to Jacquelyn. She
was very powerful, and he knew that her benefit to the realm would
be immeasurable. He didn't count on her having a drop-dead
beautiful younger sister. He immediately became enamored with her,
and brought her the the DreamWorld to rule by his side. However, he
was a bit to evil for her, and his temper kept her even farther away.
The situation quickly began to parallel his own beginning years in the
 DreamWorld.
He wouldn't have changed that for the world, though,
because it brought him Chess.
And that brought him back to the present. Chess. His wife.
His life. She'd once been nothing but an annoyance, but that had all
changed. She'd brought Cyrus' heart to a boil, but now fear had
formed a thin shell of ice on the outside.
Cyrus' brown eyes were impenetrable as he regarded
Chess. She didn't remember their marriage. That hurt. Badly. He
would find the person responsible for this, and that person would hurt
very badly for a very long time. His mind drifted back to himself, in
the chair. As good as times were then, he had no regrets and
wouldn't have done a thing differently. He vowed to himself that
Chess would become his wife again. Even if he had to make her fall
in love with him all over again. He couldn't live without her.

Aidan
Age: around 16 or 17

B-day: doesn't really matter, since she never celebrates it

Looks: Aidan has fiery red hair, that goes down to her mid-back. It
always looks toussled and wind blown, kind of appealing. Her eyes
are a strange red-purple, that are often disconcerting to look into for
a long time. Aidan used to wear blue jeans and t-shirts, but after
coming to the DreamWorld, she wears form fitting dresses, that often
looks somewhat like robes. Blue and red in coloring.

Personality: Aidan, true to her name and nature, has a very
fiery personality. She has a vivid imagination, and a terrible temper.
You don't want to tick her off. Along with this, she has a deep sense
of loyalty, and doing the right thing.

Place in the Dream World: At first Aidan didn't know how or why
she came to the Dream World, but soon it became clear that she
was there to be the new Guardian of Fire.

Background: Aidan was born, and given up. She has no clue who
her parents were or are, and she's spent her whole life in an
orphanage. Aidan was a lonely child, and often amused herself by
setting fires. The only thing about it, though, was that she set her
fires with her mind. When she was about ten or eleven a new baby
was abandoned, and Aidan thought she was adorable. She even
named her, Jodi. Jodi has since then, grown up and is Aidan's best
 friend.

Angel
Age: around 19

B-day: March 27th

Looks: Tall, with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes, basically the
boy-next-door kinda look. Sweet, innocent, nice. Wears jeans and
 t-shirts.

Personality: Nice, cheery, sympathetic, the perfect guy you could say.
He's really sweet, and he's a really great all around guy.

Place in the Dream World: The guy who was in love with Rhianna,
 and is now a Dreamweaver.

Background: A normal guy who became a Dreamweaver, when he
got lost in the Dream World and met Rhianna. He fell in love with her
instantly. Since then, he's hung around, helped her out, and... just
not realized that she has a soulmate and isn't in love with him.

Ellaria
Age: unimportant, never ask a woman her age...

Looks: Ellaria has long, night black hair, that frames her wicked face,
and deep, black, soulless eyes. Endless, lifeless. While very
beautiful, her beauty is dark, and evil. Not the natural and amazing
beauty of someone like Rhianna or Charissa, or others.

Personality: What can one say about the personality of a witch?
She's evil through and through, and wants nothing but power, and to
 ruin the Dreamweavers.

Place in the Dream World: Currently trying to take over the Dream
 World, the Dreamweavers' adversary.

Background: Not much is known, except that she's come from many
worlds away, all of which she has been conquering, one by one.
Now she has set her sights on the Dream World, and will stop at
nothing to get it.
Note: One thing known is that she has a daughter, and you'd be
surprised who, and who with.

Jodi
Age: five

B-day: January 15th.

Looks: Well, Jodi is small, kind of like a pixie. She has long, silvery
blonde curls, with a slight blue sheen to them. Her eyes are a deep
blue color, gorgeous like the night sky. Like Aidan, Jodi dresses in a
small robe, that is similar to a dress, but isn't, that's blue with silver
embroidery.

Personality: Jodi is an innocent. Sweet, loving, tender and
affectionate. At times she seems just like a little girl, always having
fun, but at others, she can seem like the wisest woman in the realms.

Place in the Dream World: Jodi came with Aidan, and ended up the
very young Guardian of the Stars.

Background: Jodi was abandoned just like Aidan, only she had Aidan
to help raise her in the orphanage. No one wanted a young baby, so
Jodi stayed where she was, happy and Aidan's best friend.

Rhianna... she did have a last name
, but she barely remembers it
Age: Doesn't really remember, she looks young, about seventeen or
so, like her sister Jacquelyn, she hasn't truly aged since she entered
 the Dream World.

B-day: December 17th, but she hasn't celebrated it in awhile...

Looks: Rhianna has long, waist length, hair, golden brown in color. It
falls in waves, and frames her face, sometimes veiling it like mist. Her
eyes are often wide in surprise, and very wise and knowing. They are
ringed, and various shades of blue-grey. Rhianna is often seen in
a long white dress, with a many layered skirt, flowing around her like
panels of mist. A mysterious and sometimes lonely figure. And very
beautiful.

Personality: Rhianna is very patient, and calm and friendly. Sometimes
melancholy, but usually trying to look for the bright side of things. She
has her share of mood swings, but is all around a sweet person.

Place in Dream World: Rhianna was originally brought to the Dream
World to be the Lady of the Dream World, but she never accepted
the proposals of the Dream Lord, and she ended up as the Mistress.
A mysterious figure who guided lost dreamers, and helped many
people. Later, Rhianna realizes that she is one of the new Guardians
of the Dream World, and she is the Guardian of Love.

Background: Rhianna was a normal girl, lived and loved her friends
and family. Especially her older sister Jacquelyn. When she stumbled
upon her sister about to leave her and go to the Dream World, she
tried to stop it, and ended up kidnapped herself. Rhianna's memory of
her sister was lost for a time, and she functioned as the Mistress.
Along with the rest of the Dreamweavers, Rhianna learned, and grew
 and began facing unspeakable challenges.

Rowena
Age: Same age as Rhianna...after all, they are twins

B-day: Dec. 17th, and she celebrated hers till she made it to the
 Dream World.

Looks: The same wavy, golden brown hair as Rhianna, and the wide,
blue-ish grey ringed eyes, although they seem to have a silverish tint
to them. Rowena's hair, which used to be as long as Rhianna's, has
recently been cut short and is chin length, framing Rowena's elfish
and full of life face. Unlike Rhianna, Rowena doesn't have wise eyes,
but eyes that always sparkle with fun. She used to dress exactly as
Rhianna, but now she sports a thin shift of a dress, that is fitted to her
body, and goes down to about mid-thigh. It's a sparkly silver color.

Personality: Rowena was never a goody-goody, she is always full of
life, and mischeivous, constantly trying to live, but also trying not to
get into trouble. A great friend and sister.

Place in the Dream World: Rowena came in not too long ago, and
was a great surprise to Rhianna, who didn't know she had a twin.
Rowena then realized that she was a big part of the Dream World,
she was the new Guardian of Life.

Background: Rowena lived with her family until she was three. She
was always the more trouble-making twin, and her parents decided
that they couldn't deal with her. They gave her up to an orphanage,
and she was adopted soon after. Rowena forgot her old family, and
lived a fairly normal life, except that she kept travelling to the Dream
World in her sleep. One time she travelled there, met her twin sister,
 Rhianna, and decided to stay.

Regina, aka "Reggie"
Age: who knows? Looks to be early 20's or late teens.

B-day: Long forgotten...if she ever had one..

Looks: Reggie has shoulder length black hair, very wild. Her eyes are
very strange, silver in color. Occasionally she might wear a gown, but
normally she goes in jean shorts and tank tops. When she does wear
a dress, she favors a long dress, that seems almost silvery-black in
color.

Personality: Reggie is confusion, literally. Sometimes she authoritative,
others she's friendly and sweet and goofy. She changes a lot.

Place in the Dream World: Reggie is the reincarnation of the Dream
Queen, who was over thrown long ago.

Background: Reggie doesn't remember her past, only waking up in
the Dream World, confused about where, and who she was
supposed to be. All she knew was her name.

Seth
Age: somewhere between 18 and 20

B-day: doesn't matter...

Looks: Seth is extremely mysterious, and tall dark and handsome. He
has dark, dark brown hair that falls in curly, playful waves, some of
them in his eyes. His eyes, are dark, so dark that they seem almost
black. Though dark, they seem to burn with an inner flame. Seth's
usual attire is black jeans and a black shirt.

Personality: Seth has a very serious personality, due to the lack of
love in his life, but when he's with Rhianna or good friends, his mood
lightens and he is fun-loving, and adorable, and well, in Rhianna's
eyes: perfect.

Place in the Dream World: He is Rhianna's soulmate and true love.
 That's it for now.

Background: Well, his background is too long to put in here, but... if
you read the story, you just might find out.

Age(s): They aren't important, even though the three don't remember
anymore.

Antwery- an impish beauty, with snipped short hair that's a
carroty-red color, and black eyes, snapping with mischief.
Brillig-a slender youth with humorous good looks, blonde hair
 and bright, intelligent green eyes.
Twire-a lovely maiden, slender and fair with light brown locks
 and blue eyes.

Personalities:
Antwery-impish, mischievous, basically like a kid with a real
wicked sense of humor.
Brillig-the serious, well-to-do person, does what he's told, no
more no less. He's very dependable.
Twire-not too smart, but smart enough, somewhat sweet, and
also nice every now and then. Very efficient.

Place(s) in the Dream World: They are the three servants and
workers of Ellaria, a.k.a. Evil witch

Background: Don't really have one, they've served Ellaria ever since
she captured their world, and have never doubted her.

Jacquelyn (No last name... although she had
 one once.)

B-day - December 21 year n/a. She's been in the dream realm for so
 long it doesn't really matter.

Age - Looks 18. Hasn't Aged a year since she entered the Dream
World.

Appearance - Deep Mahogany brown hair that's close to black. Very
PURE in color... no highlights. Cascades down her back to the floor.
Creamy pale skin. Heartshaped face. Mysterious violet eyes which
often look mournful or sad or melancholy. As if she's missing
something. Has full, berry colored lips and a dimple on her left side
when she smiles. Often found wearing gowns of dark color... such as
purple... and surrounded in mist... for the future is very unclear.

Place in Dream world - Brings Psychic Dreams; dreams which foretell
the future. A prophetess; and a friend of Rhianna's. The Lord often
uses her as his personal prophetess and guide; for she is very wise...
beyond her years. She has a sense of humor though... and also finds
 a friend in Chess.

History - In life, possessed psychic powers beyond any that had been
yet seen by the world. Cyrus lured her to the dream world so she
 could become his guide.

Fears - She can think of none that she has... but she could yet find
something. The unknown is not a mystery. Tyrants and monsters
cannot harm a person who isn't really alive in the first place.

Max
Age: looks 18, he's really pretty old though

Looks: Blonde hair -- platinum blonde. It's kinda longish, not so long
that it would be considered long hair by any means, but so it falls into
his eyes. He's not too tall, about 5'10 with a lithe build; flat muscled
and sinewy, not bulky. His face has very fine bones and is well
defined. His eyes are black lashed and hooded, and because of
sunglasses or natural avoidance of them, their color is as of yet
indistinguishable.

Story: Max was in the Dreamrealm years ago when the original
guardians roamed about, and left with the defeat of the Dream
Queen. He's wandered about from dimension to dimension, doing
whatever one does when they hop about from realm to realm. Of late,
he's found himself of assistance to the witch Ellaria, helping her take
over realms. However, he is of more a free spirit than the rest of her
henchman, and she is starting to excercise ownership over him. He's
 getting very annoyed . . .

Lyra Silvertongue

Age: looks around 16, but seems ageless

Appearance: Slight, petite, intense green eyes, very long golden hair.

Background: Very innocent, not sure of things at first. Has inborn
magic - doesnt realize that she has it, and uses it like one would use
a hand to pick up an object. wrecks havock with her magic
unintentionnaly. Catches on to things quickly, however. It is
unknown as of yet who she is or where she came from. She doesn't
remember anyplace other than dreamworld - doesnt remember
existance before dreamworld. This troubles her. She is very much a
child, but she matures quickly. Easily makes friends.

Likes: loves animals, and they always seem to be around her,
especially when she needs them. Loves music, and can sometimes
(intentionally or unintentionally) cause things to happen through song.

Dislikes: for a reason she doesn't comprehend, fog terrifies her.

Damon Raventhorne
Age: 18
Appearance: Dark hair, longish, falls in his eyes. Pale skin and classic
features. He's very handsome, and almost vampirish. His dark eyes
are haunting and almost hypnotic. He's about 6' and lean muscled.

Attitude: He's arrogant and caustic. Damon loves himself, and that's
about it. He's the dreamweaver in charge of nightmares. He is dark
and mysterious. He seems dangerous and mostly that's because he
is. He is suave and a charmer.

Background: Damon was transported to the Dreamworld after he tried
to commit suicide. He ended up in a coma in the real world, and a
guardian of shadows in the dream world. He wreaked havoc, and
charmed helpless dreamers that he caught in his web.

Gabriel Raventhorne
Age: 18
Appearance: He's Damon's twin brother. So, he looks like him, except
his eyes are a little lighter, and he dyed his hair red.

Attitude: He's the party guy. A jokester, but just as devious and
cunning as his brother. Don't be fooled, though he isn't as cold as
Damon, he's just as evil. They make up the terrible twins.

Background: He went to the dreamworld to find his brother. And
ended up liking it so much that he wanted to stay. He is haunted by
his past, concerning a girl named Amy, that he left behind in the real
world.

The Months: these are some mysterious
children who pop up sporadically to help out the dreamweavers.
 They are:

January- girl, Aisian with almond eyes and a sweet smile that she
often wears. Her silky black hair is cut chin length.

February- boy, African, bright eyes. He's serious and most often takes
charge of meetings. He's all business.

March- boy, black hair, dark eyes, pale skin. He looks like a miniature
version of the twins. Only he has warmth behind his eyes. He has
those eyes that one could fall into forever. He is the meanest of the
group. But that's not saying much, since the month children are
rarely ever mean.

April- girl, elvish looking. Red hair and snapping green eyes. Missing
her two front teeth, feckles. She is a lot like the old Chess. Fun
loving. She's also loud and blunt. She has her own opinions and isn't
afraid to voice them. She has an infectuous grin, but she can be
serious as well.

May- girl, blonde hair, long and straight. Blue eyes. She's waif-like.
Thin and pretty, fine boned. She is serious most of the time.

June- girl, brown hair. Wide brown eyes. She's spunky. She tends to
really care about the Dreamweavers. But she's on the quiet side, so
her thoughts aren't always out in the open.

July- girl, african. Wide brown eyes and braided hair, dimples when
she smiles. She is a happy girl, for a happy month. She tends to smile
alot. Like January. But she has less of a serious side.

August- boy, light brown hair, angelic face. Light green eyes. He's
very sensitive, and always whispers. He is sweet, caring, and solemn.
He really understands the Dreamweavers and how they have to deal
with their fate. He knows he doesn't have all of the answers, but he
 likes to help.

September- Boy. The smallest and quietest of the bunch. Blond hair
that's almost white. Falls into his eyes, feather light hair. Violet eyes.
He talks very little, to none at all.

October- Boy, brownish, reddish hair. Amber eyes. He's a lot like
August, in that he understands the Dreamweavers and wants to
help. He's caring, solemn, somewhat sorrowful.

November- girl. Light orange hair, long and silky. She has hazel eyes
and fair creamy skin. She is beautiful, even though she is just a little
 girl.

December- Boy, brown hair, brown eyes. Fair skin and freckles.
Childish in every way. He does care about the Dreamweavers, too.
  Anyway, he's shy and adorable.

Meg

Age: 18

Looks: medium height, on the petite side. Fair skin, long curly blond
hair, warm blue eyes. Gentle face. She dresses modestly and
usually wears long flowered dresses.

Personality: Meg is very gentle and caring and always willing to help
her friends. She tries to find the good in everyone and won't give up
on anyone. She is normally very peaceful, but can fight when
necessary. She is a skilled warrior and conceals a sword inside her
dress, which she only uses when absolutely necessary.

Background: Born in a small town in an ancient era, Meg developed
at an early age the skill to "hop dimensions" - jump between places
and times. She befriended Chess in childhood, though Chess didn't
know where Meg was really from. Meg's parents and two sisters
disapproved of her desire to become a warrior and she was forced to
leave home when she was fifteen. She was never informed that she,
in fact, had an older brother, Sterus, who had undergone the same
ordeal thirteen years prior.

Naria
Physical Description: fluffy flame-red hair, changing color - eyes

Personality: Naria is very fickle and you never know what she's
thinking or what she'll do next. She also has no concept of sympathy
or hatred because she cannot concentrate on any serious thought
for any substantial period of time. She is a Quislai (kind of a faery)
which means she has great power, but is immortal and knows nothing
of death or pain. (This is like LJ Smith's Elwyn, for those of you who know what I'm
talking about) She can be very frustrating to try to communicate with,
but is generally good and playful.

Likes: Picking wildflowers and dancing in the moonlight

Sterus

Looks: Tall, Tanned skin, dark hair, brown eyes. serious face.

Personality: Sterus lived much of his life drawing on the anger
inside of him and unleashing it onto the world. He taught himself to
take what he could and hurt as many people as he wanted. But one
day he realized how unjustified this philosophy was and turned it all
around.....

Background: Sterus never got along well with his family and none of
them seemed to care about him except his baby sister Margaret. He
left home at the age of thirteen to pursue the career of a warrior and
became an infamous and feared warlord. He, like Meg, figured out
the art of dimension-hopping and led his army through myriads of times
and places to cause untold destruction.

Chess Henderson

Age: 19, however she appears 16

Birthday: May 15, 1978

Appearance: Chess is a slight girl, with pale skin and douse of
freckles over her cheeks and nose. Five foot four, your typical
prototype carrot-top, she looks like an underfed elf. Her eyes are
sky-colored, with clouds reflecting in them.

Place in Dream World: Currently the Lady, or Mistress, of the Dream
World and also completely oblivious of this fact.

Background: Chess was brought to the Dream World by Cyrus when
she attempted to commit suicide, failed, and found herself in a coma.

Personality: Well, for reasons above stated, she has two. The Chess
who remembers her life and death in the Real World is a sad and
lonely girl, preoccupied with Cyrus and not well-focused on her duty
as Dream Mistress. Bereft of the grin that had so often fixed her
features before she knew about her tragic past, she spent most of her
time trying to regain the happiness that she lost, and wishing to be a
better person for both Cyrus and the rest of the Dreamweavers. The
Chess who remembers nothing except for her life in the Dream Realm
is whimsical, with a smirk pasted to her face and a dozen jokes and
acrobatic schemes up her sleeve. She's never quite on task and
makes mockery of serious matters.

Dreamweaver Histories

Damon, Gabriel, Amy and Alia

A dark night. A sad start to a dark story. Damon's last night on earth.
He tried to commit suicide, and was found by Cyrus. The dream lord
brought the eighteen year old boy to the Dreamworld, to be in charge
of nightmares. Damon was delighted. He cherished his dark power.
His ability to create fear in the hearts of innocent dreamers, and in
people who thought themselves to be so strong. And he found fear in
the other dream weavers. He learned to look into their hearts and spin
them in a web of fear.
His twin brother, Gabriel, followed him into the Dreamworld.
He believed that there was no place on earth left for him without his
brother. So they became the terrible twins. One cold and charming,
one reckless and sarcastic.
Eventually, he and his brother pulled Rose and Winter into
the dreamworld at random, to harass them. They trapped them in ice,
and threw daggers at them. Damon was charmlingly deadly. Girls
who dreamt of him didn't forget too easily. The Dream World magic
had wrapped him in a sinister glow. A look in his eyes left you
speechless. It was easy to fall into his cold, obsidian eyes.
When it was discovered that Rose and Winter were meant
for higher things, the twins got in trouble with Cyrus. But they could
not be stopped. The continued their reign over nightmares else
where.
It was about that time that Damon brought someone new
into the Dreamworld. He thought she'd be harmless, but he was
wrong. Her name was Alia. And she was a connection to the past, to
the real world. Someone that threatened Damon and Gabriel's stable
balance. But even more threatening was her sister.
While Alia was in the dreamworld, she awakened old
emotions in Gabriel, for Alia's sister Amy. Amy was Gabriel's nightmare.
He and Damon had played with her, toyed with her
emotions on earth. They pretended to be one person. Damon would
be cruel to her, and Amy would be torn apart, then Gabriel would
come in and act nice to her, and she'd forgive who she thought was
one person.
Amy went into a coma in the real world, soon after she
appeared in the Dreamworld.
But by then Gabriel had found Regina. The new Dream
Queen. He had been the first to find her in the Dreamworld. And he
had soon fallen in love with her. She was charming and beautiful. And
 he loved her dearly.
Until Amy came back and threatened it all. Amy grew
unstable and insane in her jealousy. While she tormented Gabriel, she
was unaware that the other brother, Damon, was off facing his own
nightmare.
Damon's nightmare was his loneliness. He felt that there
was truly no place for him, and that no one could ever love him.
When the shadowlings came. Leir, Gabriel's evil double,
fought with Gabriel with the life of Alia at stake. Gabriel managed to
beat Leir, but Alia died anyway. This sent Amy into even more
madness. She attacked Damon and Gabriel, but they restrained her
as best they could.
Damon was learning his powers as a Guardian, the
Guardian of shadows. He was also his own Shadowling. Which
meant he had to fight the darkness within him. With the guidance of
the mysterious month children, May, June, and August, he learned his
 path.
In one of the final battles, Amy became another victim. She died in the Dream World and was sent back to earth, with her sister.
Amy didn't remember the Dream World and the sorrow that had
happened there. And Alia didn't tell her. Not even about how Gabriel
and Damon had apologized, and how Gabriel had faced his
nightmare.
With the Shadowlings gone, so was the darkness inside
Damon. But he still felt alone. Until he discovered his feelings for the
dreamweaver Meg. The girl who infuriated him at first, truly meant so
much to him.
The time after the Shadowlings came was peaceful. So
much was happening. It was like Spring, with couples blooming
everywhere.
Until one fateful day when Damon and Gabriel got trapped
in an in-between place that they foolishly thought would be better
than the Dream World or even Earth. They were wrong. And now they're stuck there. Only August and the others could help Damon to
realize that only he had the power to save himself.
Damon had almost given up when he was suddenly
transported back to the Dream World and is now trying to regain his
bearings. He has had a minor confrontation with Sterus, who he
didn't realize is Meg's brother.

Meg
When Meg first entered the Dream World, she quickly met up with
two of Rhianna's guides, who were lost in the woods. Through them,
she met Rhianna and, subsequently, the rest of the dreamweavers.
She was pleasantly surprised to encounter her old friend Chess, who
had been transported to the Dream World after an attempted suicide
and didn't yet remember much of her past.
Meg, like all of the dreamweavers, had to face her nightmare, which
was reliving a terrible day when she had failed in saving the life of a
girl captured by a group of warriors. She later learned that this
mystery "chocolate-eyes" girl was Amy, an old girlfriend of Gabriel's
who had been tricked by the twin brothers and was carrying out her
revenge on the dreamweavers.
At the time of the shadowlings Meg was tortured by her own evil
double, Miranda, who traveled both the Dream World and Real World
impersonating Meg and doing terrible things in her name. Miranda
was eventually killed with the other shadowlings.
Damon always intrigued Meg and as she came to know him better,
she began to challenge him, urge him to become a better person,
which she was sure he was capable of. Damon was at first defensive
of Meg's encouragement, but as time went on he came to respect
Meg and, eventualy, to love her. And she loved him in return. They
were just discovering these feelings when Damon was captured by
an unknown force and held captive in an indefinable place. Meg
was crushed after Damon's disappearance until she learned that he
was still alive . . . .somewhere. She was encountered by the gentle
November, who promised to help her find Damon.
Meg's latest adventure was a reunion with her brother Sterus. She
had heard of the infamous Warlord and stood up to him to defend the
Dream World when he entered it. But Sterus realized that the
determined warrior before him was his own sister and was forced to
reconsider his entire lifestyle. He revealed to Meg their relationship
and Meg was elated to find a brother she hadn't even known about.
Meg has recently fought off a troop of soldiers sent by Ellaria and
joined Sterus and Rhianna with Lark and Miora. They are trying to
figure out what to do about the evil witch and how to bring back
Damon, Gabriel, and Raven, Miora's sister who has just been
transported to the same prison as the twins.

Sterus
Sterus first arrived in the Dream World with his army, set to conquer it
and force all its inhabitants into submission. But this wasn't as easy
as he had planned. As soon as he arrived, he was confronted by an
annoying girl who claimed to be a warrior and kept bothering him and
trying to talk to him. She told him what he was doing was wrong and
tried to convince him to leave peacefully. Sterus was rather surprised
by this since most people ran the second they saw his face or heard
his name and here this little nobody was trying to stand up to him. He
decided she was crazy and tried to ignore her but she wouldn't leave
him alone. When talking didn't work, the girl tried to fight him and
she proved to be a skilled warrior. Sterus became more and more
irritated and decided to kill her the next time he saw her. He was
about to do this when, seeing a familiar expression in her eyes, he
recognized her as his baby sister Margaret, whom he had not seen for
sixteen years. Now he was suddenly plunged into uncertainty: all
the justifications he had formed for his career and behavior were
crushed when he recognized Meg, since she had obviously been
through the same ordeal as he had and come out of it good and
without anger.
After much thought and consideration, Sterus dismissed his army,
sending them off far away without a way of return and joined Meg to
try to make amends for all the damage he'd caused over the years
and find a new direction for his life.
When Meg went to Cyrus's castle and Sterus was barred entrance,
he left and went to break up a fight between Angel and Seth over
Rhianna. Then she and Sterus talked for a while and eventually met
up with Meg, Lark, and Miora.
Sterus has recently had a run-in with a mysterious boy, who refused to
believe that Sterus meant the Dream World no harm. He doesn't yet
realize that this boy is Damon.

Chess
For reasons not entirely stated, Chess contracted amnesia after her
suicide attempt, and for the better part of millenia in the Dream World
was a laughing fool who befriended most and annoyed even more.
Then, during a fight with Cyrus, she was thrown into a nightmare that
revealed to her the beginning of her life in the Dream World. She
became convinced that Cyrus had saved her from the nothingness
that she would have endured in her coma, and fell in love with him,
later marrying him and becoming Lady. However, before they could
even have a proper honeymoon, they were whisked into battle where
 she met her shadowling, Ssehc.
When the Guardians arrived, and Ellaria began wreaking havoc on
the Dream World, she was killed along with Rhianna. Waking up
again in the Real World, she did the only thing that would gain her
certain access into the Dream World again: attempted to kill herself.
Her plan succeeded, but it was not the Dream World that she was
transferred to, but an in-between plane where she was compelled to
decide her own fate: Return to the Real World, and cherish the
memories of the dreams she'd had and of Cyrus, continue to the
Dream World and forget anything that had happened since she
remembered her life in the first place, or end her life as she had meant
to so long before.
Chess, unable to give up her life as a dreamweaver and Cyrus's wife,
chose to return to the Dream World and forget the past. She traveled
back, leaving her reforned shadowling, Ssehc, in the Real World
with her Grandma Eve to take her old life. She reappeared in the
Dream World, the old careless Chess of way back. Together she,
Cyrus and Jacqueline began a mysterious quest through a maze of
puzzling islands and bridges, meeting several bizarre/interesting
people on the way.

Raoul
Raoul has been in the Dreamworld a shorter period of time then
anybody else has, but he is ultimately special. At first he only
accomplished being a powerful nuisance and raising a ruckus, but he
learned to adjust to the new living conditions and control his Gurdian
powers. His biggest challenge was facing his past as a living human
being, and coming to grips with what he did to the harmless Guardian of Fear, Loki. Upon reliving the
story of the tragedy as it happened, Raoul was granted his fat: a
cursed black Obsidian dagger with Arabic Writing on the handle. The
knife drove him mad and he killed himself with it, but was aided by
Loki, who saved his life. Raoul knows little of what happened after
his resuscitation. All he knows is that he had a strange dream where
an eerie presence referred to as "Nidawan" spoke to him about
'becoming his full potential.' When Raoul awoke from this dream, he
had been transformed into a large dragon with magik powers: A
Dragon Mage. Loki and he are now connected in a way they
haven't come to understand yet, and are trapped in some weird
Interdimensional Vortex.
