PEDDLE

The first Peddle to come to Newfoundland was Levi, from Monmouthshire

Wales.He was involved in an insurrection there and in all proability

fled to Newfoundland, settling in what we know today as Bristols Hope

He was one of the defenders of Carbonear Island in 1697

His Sword is at the Newfoundland Museum
