SearchingWELLWOOD

Query:
Wellwoods are listed in some material related to Dundas county.  I have a fairly complete Wellwood family tree starting with Robert Wellwood who immigrated to Lanark County in 1820 and died in West Wawanash, Huron County in 1855.  I am seeking living Wellwood descendents to bring the family tree up to date. I have over 330 descendents of Robert and am willing to share the material with other relatives.  Mary Wellwood (1866 - 1942), my wife's great grandmother went as a teacher to Alberta where she met and married another emmigrant from Ontario, Arthur Kent (1874 - 1948).  Unfortunately, the last contact with the Ontario and Minnesota Wellwoods was in 1980.
Athough I have a rather complete record including dates of birth and death.  Actual locations are missing for most individuals.  I do have information of interest to any Wellwood relative.

SearchingHITCHCOCK, WALLACE

Query:
Looking for the parents of Lydia Hitchcock, born 15 July 1806 in either Vermont or Ontario. She married 25 December 1821 to David Wallace in Dundas Co. They moved to Ohio in 1849. I believe that Lydia might have been related to the Nancy Hitchcock who married Samuel Servis in Dundas Co in 1833. David Hitchcock and Baladan Hitchcock, witnesses for Nancy's marriage might have been their brothers (Lydia named one of her sons Baladan). I am speculating that they all might
have been children of Elim Hitchcock or Justin Hitchcock, brothers born
in Hampden Co, Massachusetts who are known to have settled in Canada.
