Farewell Ralph, you have left us,
No more with us here to dwell.
God has sent to thee a message,
Bade thee haste where all is well.
The family circle now is broken,
The frailest link has been removed.
At Heaven's gate we hope to meet thee,
If to God we faithful prove.
Our home is sad, our hearts are lonely,
The precious voice we loved is still.
As God's own way we humbly bow to,
For heavenly bliss he had thee willed.
Then farewell, my darling husband,
Till we meet on Heaven's shore,
That when life's day to us is ended,
We hope to meet and part no more.
