Arizona Bike Week
1998 Disorganized, Events too
spread out around the
State, No way to contact organizers, a complete waste
of a valuable weeks riding. I just heard 1999 is to be
cancelled. Anyone with info about 1999 or different
opinion about 1998 please leave info on Guestbook.
Laughlin River Run,
Laughlin, Nevada Always a good run
but advance
reservations are a must. Be prepared to spend some
money
and every police officer from 300 miles away is there
on
duty and they do their best to make it miserable.
The
Gathering in
Sturgis, South Dakota Every
Traveler should see the
Sturgis Run at least once. I've been twice and once is
really enough.
Kirk Woodward writes
Anyone interested in Motorcycle
Touring should
check-out the annual run down old Route 66 (the highway
that ran between Chicago and Los Angeles before
the Interstates were built).
Details are at: www.hhjm.com/rally This Run is not for the Weekend Rider!
Ed Keyes from New York says "Anyone looking for parts or
just a good day out with a few thousand (friendly)
biker type's??" There is one rather large Swap Meet
held on or about Nov. 7th every year. It is located in Stafford, CT, just
south of the Mass. Turnpike and East of the Indian
Factory in Springfield. More info to be added as soon
as we get it. CLICK ON THIS CHOPPER FOR
