Hi all, Ed thanks for the introduction. I met Ed from a Pain forum that he and I have perused and I immediatly liked him and sent him off and E-mail right away asking if we could be Pain-Pals:))) Shortly therafter he built his Wonderful website!!

I was and still am a member of several other E-mail groups concerning Mine and my husbands specific Illnesses, so I was hestitant to join this one too, But I am sure I'll enjoy it!!

Well let me introduce myself and My family to you. I am Chris and I just had a Menigeoma Brain tumor removed Feb. 18th 1999. I am doing well, just waiting for that dreadful hair to grow back.*S* I also have a rare disease called Arnold Chiari, which is a malformation at the back of my skull and causes Temple headaches and neck pain. I have had headaches for 12 years and the tumor for 9. I have scholeolsis and have had 5 knee surgeries and had my kneecaps removed when I was 15. I am 34 now. I live with pain almost everyday. It has lessened some since the tumor was removed. My husband Todd and I have been married for 15 years and He has a Rare disease called Behcets disease. It is an auto-Immune disease and is Very Painful. He has been Very sick for over a year now. He has had several small strokes, and I have spent the last 2 weeks in and out of the hospital with him. He takes Loratab 5's every day. Thats all he could get and it took me a year of fighting the VA hospital and the congressman to get this far. He is 36. I have a 12 year old son, soon to be 13 in 9 days. and 11 year old twins, a boy and a girl. My 11 Yr. old son has Bi-polar/schizo-affective disorder and ataxia and possible Behcets, he is going to be tested for it. But despite My FULL plate and all the sickness and pain, I am still activly involved with scouts.

My children are wonderful and they are all in scouts, my daughter is in soccer, and they are all on the high honor rolls and they all get A's and B's. So I Have to keep a positive attitude for my bi-polars sake and for Todd's sake, So I try, Try, Try. :)))))))) My computer is my escape, so I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you ....((((Gentle Hugs))))
